A. Submission Related
Q : What are the requirements for the submission in JAPA?
JAPA welcomes any manuscripts to be published (Original Articles, Review Articles, Commentaries, Case Report, Letters to the Editor). The manuscripts must follow the scope of the journal’s coverage. You can read in detail on the JAPA Homepage
Q : How do I submit my manuscript with JAPA?
The authors are welcome to read our Journal Guidelines & Policies or click here for checklist and preparation of documents before manuscript submission. Q : How much does it cost to publish in JAPA?
JAPA does have an Article Processing Charge (APC). This fee will be paid by the author/s when the research paper is accepted. The fee charged per one submission is RM500/ USD 130. The APC payment can be paid through online payment, or click here for more information
Q : Can we split APC payment among multiple authors?
Yes, you can but it is under your group discussion. We only collect the total amount from the corresponding author and give the receipt of payment to the corresponding author.
Q : Is there any page limit for writing articles?

B. Publication Related
Q : How frequently JAPA publish in a year?
JAPA will publish at least three times a year.
Q : How do I get my paper published in JAPA?
All submissions to Journal Asia Pacific Aesthetic Sciences (JAPA) are peer reviewed by 2 reviewers. You may be asked to make revisions to the paper to render it acceptable for publication and you should make the revisions accordingly within the timeline given before being accepted into publishing. Q : Where is JAPA indexed?
At present, JAPA is indexed by MyJurnal
Q : Does JAPA have impact factor?
The annual Journal Citation Record (JCR) impact factor is a ratio between citations and recent citable items published during the previous two years. We still need some time to be eligible for it as our published journal is still limited.
C. Others
Q : Can I submit a manuscript that was published elsewhere?
Submission of an article that has been published previously will violate the terms and policies of the Committee of Publication Ethics (COPE). Submission of an article implies that the work described has not been published previously (except in the form of an abstract or as part of a published lecture or academic thesis).
